Our Mission
Transforming
Triage Through AI
The idea for Doctossist began with a simple observation. Dr. Mona Salahi, a radiologist with years of experience, had witnessed firsthand the daily struggles within busy, often understaffed public hospitals. The emergency room, in particular, was a place where time was always of the essence, yet the triage process—the crucial first step in patient care—was often slow, burdened by paperwork, and prone to errors. This wasn’t due to a lack of dedication from healthcare professionals; rather, the system itself was struggling to keep up with the demands. We realized technology, specifically the power of AI, could offer a helping hand. So, we brought together a team of experts: a skilled business leader, a talented UI/UX designer, and a brilliant software developer. Although we are part of the Shahid Beheshti University startup program, benefiting from their mentorship and resources, we operate independently. Together, we began building Doctossist, an AI-powered triage assistant designed to lighten the load for healthcare workers and improve the patient experience. We’re still early in our journey, but we’re excited to share Doctossist with the world and hopefully make a positive impact.
